In June of 1999, Henry Holden was honored by the New York State Assembly at
its Legislative Disability Awareness Day. He was presented with a
proclamation from the Senate Majority Leader. Wherein it stated, "Whereas,
it is the sense of this Legislative body that those who enhance the well-being
with vitality of their community and have shown a long and sustained commitment
to excellence certainly have earned recognition and applause".
