| Henry Holden, among many other things, is an advocate and pioneer for the
inclusion of persons with disabilities in all forms of media and
entertainment. He is the founder of Performers with Disabilities for the
Screen Actors Guild, an award winning lecturer; recognized for his influential
and enlightening message, an accomplished athlete, actor and comedian. In
everything he does, he's teaching us that people with physical disabilities
should not be treated better or worse, simply equal.
Henry is changing the attitudes of the people developing and producing news and entertainment as seen by the public. He is a pioneer in his own right, as his programs help the media, television and movie industries recognize a demographic they know exists, but are reluctant to address for a variety of reasons. His work is helping the entire media establishment, advertising agencies and corporations to understand the importance of championing the message of total inclusion in order to make wide-spread and lasting change. And by doing so, these industries can enjoy developing a new and profitable market for themselves while improving their public image. There are an estimated 50 million Americans with disabilities in this country and unlike any other demographic, have little or no representation in mass media. Henry's goal is to eliminate the void. By working with him, companies gain a clear understanding of the most appropriate method to include and 'mainstream' persons with disabilities in their advertisements or programs. Henry shatters the myths about persons with disabilities and provides his clients with truthful, sound and proven strategies on how to change public perception and turn negative images to positive messages of tolerance. As an actor, comedian, acclaimed lecturer and media commentator, Henry Holden has profound ability. He can help you realize your potential for total inclusion, while continuing to meet the needs of your audience. |
